PU 40 is a one-component polyurethane-based sealing material that cures with ambient moisture. It provides excellent adhesion to materials such as corrugated sheets, aluminum, stainless steel, lead, copper, ceramics, glass, and various plastics. It is abrasion-resistant and can be painted over.
Applications:
- Filling deep openings between joined construction elements on-site.
- Sealing shrinkage joints in concrete floors and terraces.
- Connecting and mounting aluminum PVC elements, and sealing glass in wooden windows.
- Bonding roof tiles.
- All applications requiring the painting of joints.
- Sealing ventilation ducts, gutters, and bonding work.
- Sealing vehicle frames and sheet metal seams.
How to Use: The application area must be dry, clean, and free from dust, oil, and grease. To achieve an even joint and prevent contamination of adjacent areas, use masking tape, which can be removed immediately after applying the sealant. Use expansion joint cord to fill deep gaps. Smooth the applied sealant immediately with a wet spatula or finger. Apply using a hand or pneumatic gun designed for sealants. A test application is recommended.
Storage: Store in a dry, cool place in sealed containers at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
Shelf Life: 12 months from the manufacturing date.
