PU 40 is a one-component polyurethane-based sealing material that cures with ambient moisture. It provides excellent adhesion to corrugated sheets, aluminum, stainless steel, lead, copper, ceramics, glass, and various plastics. It is abrasion-resistant and paintable.
Applications:
- Filling deep gaps between joined construction elements on-site.
- Sealing shrinkage joints in concrete floors and terraces.
- Connecting and mounting aluminum PVC elements, and sealing glass in wooden windows.
- Bonding roof tiles.
- Applications requiring painted joints.
- Sealing ventilation ducts, gutters, and bonding work.
- Sealing vehicle frames and sheet metal seams.
How to Use: The application surface must be dry, clean, and free of dust, oil, and grease. To achieve a smooth joint and prevent contamination of adjacent areas, use masking tape, which can be removed immediately after applying the sealant. Use expansion joint cord to fill deep gaps. Smooth the applied sealant immediately by rubbing with a wet spatula or finger. Apply using a hand or pneumatic gun designed for sealants. It is recommended to perform a test application first.
Storage: Store in a dry, cool place and in sealed containers at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C.
Shelf Life: 12 months from the manufacturing date.
