Foam Gun is used for filling cavities, and sound and thermal insulation. Due to its excellent filling and insulating properties, PU foam is widely used in mounting and installation work.
Application:
- Placing and foaming window and door frames
- Foaming and insulating partition walls, window sills, and stair treads
- Foaming and insulating pipe penetrations
- Foaming roof, wall, and ceiling joints
- Connecting and sealing frame constructions
- Thermal insulation of elements of central heating systems and water and sanitary installations
- Insulation and sealing in cold room construction
- Thermal insulation of roofs
Technical properties:
Curing occurs after 2 to 4 hours. It can then be cut, cleaned, and painted. The foam adheres to all common building substrates except silicone, PE, PP, PTFE, Teflon. It is resistant to seawater, weather conditions, humidity, and steam.
How to use: The surface must be clean, free of dust and grease, and moistened with water before starting work. The can should be at room temperature. Place the spray can in the spraying position, nozzle down. Shake the can vigorously about 30 times before starting work. Screw the can onto the gun's thread (or attach the hose). Fill the cavity to about 70% depth (from wall to wall) as the foam will expand further. Fill larger cavities in layers of max. 3 cm thickness. Cut off excess, fully cured foam with a knife and protect it from UV radiation with, for example, silicone or plaster. Clean the gun and hose with GRAFEN PROFESSIONAL PISTOL AND PU FOAM CLEANER.
Storage:
Store in a dry, cool place in unopened packaging at +5°C to +25°C.
Shelf life:
12 months from the production date. The production date is printed on the packaging.
